Windrush Commissioner’s response on Hurricane Melissa, Jamaica.
Standing with Jamaica in the Wake of Hurricane Melissa
As Windrush Commissioner and son of Jamaican parents, I am deeply moved by the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa. Families have lost homes, livelihoods, and security — yet the spirit of Jamaica remains unbroken. Now is the moment for us, as a community of conscience and compassion, to respond.
